The decision by all 28 members the European Union to hold the unusual emergency meeting to assess the situation in Oromia is an encouraging news. Given their immense leverage over the country, we hope they will come up with a proposal that supports expanded freedom, end mass eviction of farmers and the ongoing mass murder. The people in Oromia continue to defy the TPLF repressive regime to regain it Freedom.
