The shutdown is called by Oromia Qeerroo (youth group) for 5 subsequent days from August 23-27. It is a third day today and it is successfully ongoing in multiple cities, there is no commerce, no transportation, and no routine work! Everything freezes, the citizen is requesting three things in this round.
- To abolish unfair taxation hike!
- Release more than 60,000 – 100,000 estimated political prisoners
- Stop aggression in eastern and southern part of Oromia using mercenary army
