“TPLF generals and Abdi Ileey are reportedly working on a plan of staging a serious of bombings and terrorist attacks, mainly against businesses owned by highlander Ethiopians, in Somali Region. The plan is to claim that the attacks are conducted by Al Shabaab in retaliation for Ethiopian army entry into Somalia last week in an attempt to prevent the passing of H.Res.128 (Supporting respect for human rights and encouraging inclusive governance in Ethiopia) and to deflect attention from the worsening political situation in Ethiopia.
This is the main reason why TPLF generals have now brought up this dangerous initiative. But sources add that Abdi Ileey and the generals also plan to claim that Oromo Qeeros in Western and Eastern Hararghe are working with Al Shabaab and use as a new scapegoat to kill Oromo youth. Abdi Ileey has today opened a meeting attended by all zones, districts, and Kebele administrations in Jigjiga and the agenda is how to fight Al Shabaab terrorist activities in Somali Region and parts of Oromia.” Source: Jawar Mohammed
